First, let me say its looks are very good, the material is excellent, the base is thick and heavy with a fiberglass backing however there are design flaws. There is a flat ledge around the base about 2 inches wide where the wall sits and, being flat, water tends to stand on it instead if draining to the bottom. if it were tilted toward the drain it wouldn't be a potential mold and soap scum problems. Also where the two back corners meet painted metal strips are provided to cover the joint and are held in by screws. These can easily be distorted with potential for leaks. (Ones I have installed before had curved joints of the same material as the walls, that were overlapped preventing any leaks). The installation instructions say to use masonry mortar under the base but if the front apron of the base sits on the floor the mortar would be only I/4 to 3/4 inches thick and if you are familiar with it, mortar that thin has no strength especially on a wood floor and would turn to sand over time after the base is walked on There wasn't enough information provided to make an informed decision before ordering. otherwise I may not have. But for some reason there isn't much to choose from now and nothing was available locally.
