This chair replaced a metal shower chair. It is an excellent product which we have used for months now. The hospice nurses have asked where I purchased so they can tell other patients families. There is nothing on this chair that can cut, pinch, or rust. My mother is a total care end stages Alzheimers patient and this chair has been a blessing. It fits through our bathroom door and is easy to maneuver.Just what I need. I'm paralized from chest down and I have a wound in the coccyx area. The seat cover doesn't touch that area and that's great to avoid more damage while taking the bath. The security belt is great too as I use to have spasms in the legs that moves me from the seat if I don't have a belt. The back part of the chair is removable and very useful if for any reason you need to lean back while seated.My husband has been bathed in bed for over a year as he lost his ability to walk into a shower. We got our shower redesigned so no step now and this chair, with the help of an aide, has brought smiles back to his face - he loves the feel of taking a shower again.Works well for transporting but is a little uncomfortable for the elderlyPicture was very deceiving. This chair may fit a 300 lb , 6’4’ man but a 93 yr old 120 lb woman falls through it. Even with an elongated toilet, it protrudes out about 6” past the front of the bowl. It is totally not adjustable in any way. These pictures show it’s size compared to a wheelchair.Sturdy rolls perfectly with great locksI use it every dayWorth the $$$$$I bought it for a Medical clinic and is really sturdy, is bigger than I expected.It is perfect. Sturdy. Everything we wanted. Rolls easily and locks firm.
