Adding the 14” extended arm was key for our shower head (search KOHLER K-13688-BN 8-Inch Contemporary Round Rain Showerhead, Vibrant Brushed Nickel ). Looks great and the ability to move the head is nice. I used my other hole cover for my install instead of the one that comes with the shower head. Remember to use lots of plumbing tape and wind it clockwise. Make sure you have clearance for the extender arm as well..Keep in mind that you do not get the extender ceiling arm as shown in the product picture for the shower head.
